Yeah, I am currently a college student majoring in CS at NanYang Normal University.Wrapping up my third year.

What is your major ?

My major? It's computer science, in the realm of coding, algorithms, and all things digital! I really into it cause I'm fascinated by how technology shapes our world.

Why do you like this major?

This is a good questions for me. Well, I knew I had a passion for it ever since the beginning of high school. I became interested in computers when I exchanged ideas with my classsmates, and I just fell in love with it. I hope to turn it into a career one day.

What would you like to do in the future?

In the future ? I'm still figuring that out, but one thing's for sure, I want to make a difference. Whether it's through my career, or maybe even starting my own business, no matter where I am, I really want to leave a positive impact on the world.

What are the most popular subjects in China?

The most popular disclines? It depends. If you're at university level, popular subjects are often chosen with employment prospects and economic trends in mind.From what I've seen, subjects like Computer Science, medicine, Finance are pretty popular in China.

Do you think it's important to choose a major you like?

Absolutely! I believe that when you're passionate about what you're studying, you're more motivated to excel. Plus, enjoying your subjects makes the journey a whole lot more enjoyable, don't you think?

Are you looking forward to working?

Definetely! I can't wait to dive into workforce and apply everying I've learned. It'll be a new adventure, full of challenges and opportunities. I'm really to roll up my sleeves and get started.

Do you prefer to study in the morning or in the evening?

It depends, If it's on a weekday, the early hours help me foucs better. Sleeping too late can affect the next day's study efficiency. If it's a weekend, I'm more of a night owl, so my most productive study sessions happen in the evenings. My brain just doesn't function at peak level early in the morning.

How does university life differ from your expectations?

It's a lot more demanding and fast-paced than I anticipated. Juggling classes, assignment, exams, and still having a social life takes excellent time management skills.

What has been the biggest challenge with your studies so far?

To be honest, the biggest hurdle for me has been staying motivated when I have so many deadlines. It can be exhausting at times.

Hometown

Can you describe your hometown?

Sure! I was born in smaller town in LuoHe, which is one of the important grain-producing cities in China. It is located on the central plains, in the south of Henan Province. Luohe is known for its long history of food processing, especially the famous instant noodles and beverage brands.

What do you like most about your hometown?

In Luohe, one thing I love about the friendly people and relaxed life.I find everyone here is nice.To be honest here is slow and easy. You can walk around the park, enjoy the river view.

What are the main attractions in your hometown?

The attractions? You know, Luohe has many iconic landmarks, such as the Shahe River. Recently, I used to walk along with the river. Besides, the old street downtown is one of the main attractions. There are many small shop selling local snacks and handmade things. It's fun to walk around.

What is the weather like in your hometown?

Hmm, Living in our city it has pros and cons. Summer here get really hot--you step out and feel heat right away. But winters are cold, sometimes with a little frost early in the morning.

What are some typical dishes or foods from your hometown?

Oh, there are a few typical foods in Luohe that people love. The most famous one is probably Luohe spicy noodles—they' re really flavorful, with a rich broth and just the right amount of spice. Locals eat them almost every week, especially for breakfast or lunch.

How has your hometown changed over the years?

Well, you know, my hometown, Luohe, has changed quite a bit over the years. Honestly, it feels like it's grown a lot. I remember seeing more fields and open spaces when I was younger, but nowadays, a lot of that land has been developed - you see more houses and buildings popping up instead.

Would you recommond your hometown as a tourist destination?

Yeah, definitely! I mean, Luohe might not be the first place that comes to mind for tourists, but honestly, if you're interested in food or how modern China works, it's actually pretty interesting.

Are there any downsides to living in your hometown that you can think of?

Yeah, I guess a couple of things. First, the city isn't as developed as bigger places. So things like buses or some facilities aren't quite as good or as easy to find. Also, there aren't as many different jobs here, especially really high-paying ones, compared to huge cities like Beijing or Shanghai."

"But the good side is, life is much slower and more relaxed here. It's less crowded and less stressful. So, if you prefer a quieter life, it's actually a really nice place to live. It just depends on what you like!

What changes would you like to see happen in your hometown in the future?

"Well, two big things I’d love to see:

First, a proper subway system—it’d make commuting so much easier, especially during rush hour.

And second, an airport nearby! Right now, flying means traveling to bigger cities first, which takes extra time and money.

Plus, if these happened, I bet they’d attract more tech companies or startups. That could mean better-paying jobs for locals and a real boost to our economy overall."

Do you live in an apartment or a house?

I currently live in appartment building located in the Yancheng district of Luohe. you know , in China, the appartment living is extremely common for young people due to the high prices! The main reason for this is definitely the soaring property prices.

Can you briefly describe your apartment?

Sure! my apartment, it's a modest three-bedroom unit with a closed kitchen and a living room. It has two small balcony as well. Nothing too fancy, but functional for my needs. The decor is modern, with minimalist furniture.
